Searchlight

ATS girls on duty.

I'm really into old vibes right now. Looking war pics, watching war movies. A lot reading about segregation times. Just finished Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. The saddest children book I ever read, no, the book hardly a tearjerker. I mean sad because in the entire book I didn't remember the children, and all of the people, had any fun. It's all about working at cotton fields, burning sunlight, poverty, hard times, hard times. But I like how the Logan family sticks together, how strong they are. And Cassie, Cassie being doesn’t have any idea what her color of skin mean and demand to be just equal to anyone. I like stories like this, no dragons, magic spells, apocalypse of some kind. Just simple people struggling in real life, real heroism as I call. I can relate to it and I can realize how small I am. The unknowns behind me, ahead of me, around me.
